ALL About Caring Project Inc. efforts is to combat and eradicate the disparity of dropout rates and college graduation rates of our low income DC youth. We have a new and exciting event call Higher Education Campaign “Scholarship and Grants expo” that will take place on Saturday February 28th, 2015 (11am-4pm) at Bald Eagle Recreation Center in SW DC which will focus on promoting higher education to high school students and preparation for post-secondary education. AACP will provide services such as: Financial Literacy, Scholarships and Grants information from local organizations, and seminars on how to strategically prepare for college, trade school, workforce and military. Our focus is to bring resources to the youth in the low-income areas who may find it hard to access these resources on their own. Throughout the day students will have access to over 25 or more organizations and companies that provides scholarships, grants and financial literacy, also students will have the ability to apply for scholarships right on the spot.  We will also have seminars every 45 minutes for both parents and students to gain knowledge about financial aid, applying for loans and how to apply for colleges just to name a few. One of the unique services will consist of a panel discussion from local college graduates and present college students that will give in-depth information to high-school students who seek higher education. This event will be free to both the public and participates because we believe in providing, promoting and finding purpose in our youth.
